Yun-chan! And I even drew a cute lil' patchy rat on his shoulder!
Anyway, dispite the obvious sloppiness, I'm rather proud of this one. I mean, it's Yuki! It'd be hard to make him look bad. I wasn't sure about the color of his shirt (it's hard to tell, looking from a black and white manga), but it's nothing I should worry about (I guess). The full size image is a bit large, but it's definitely smaller than the other images I have here (so far). Ah, well... enjoy!

And without a doubt, I will be drawing him again sometime. Grrrrl ;)!

Freakin' Kawaii! What type of markers do you use?
:iconcapntsubasa:
Nice marker work! This is some really good fan art... The mousie is cute too! Keep 'em coming!

SUPER Tips, Crayola. There's 20 of 'em here... Uh, they're my brothers and I was kinda using them without permission.
I love Yuki. Anything Yuki is kawaii. Thanks, hun !

Thank yee, capn :]. I was nervous about the markers, but it turned out better than I thought. (I always think of worst case scenarios. Like, "As soon as I put this marker on the paper, my ma's gonna yell for me, which will scare the crap outta me, which will cause the marker to slide across the paper... RUINING it :'(! lol.) Thanks again ;).

Niiice. You have a pretty nice grip on traditional media so far, a lot better than me ;) I like his expression!

Suggestion: You might wanna shrink the size of the pic. It really makes it hard for people to want to look at it full size when it's that huge!

Keep it up!

At the risk of repeating myself, it is indeed damn nice. The expressivity of the central character is pretty strong (and, after a second look, the one of that secondary, dressed-in-red lad is as strong, too).

Definitely impressive handling of markers. Kudos !

Now, I have only one thing bugging me with this picture:

Who the hell is Yuki ?
:iconcapntsubasa:
I know how that goes... I was always tentative about coloring when I was doing pen and ink drawing until I started scanning the lineart, printing a copy, and coloring the copy instead of the original... Then, if I made a horrible mistake, I wouldn't be trying to use white drafting ink to cover up my boo-boos...

Again, really nice work!

Yuki is actually the lad-in-red. The rat on his corner... well, is just a rat He's one of the central characters in a manga called Fruits Basket. It's a story in which twelve members of a family are cursed by the vengeful spirits of the Chinese Zodiac. When any one of these members is hugged by the opposite sex, they turn into the animal which they represent. In a nut shell, Yuki's the rat. Basically the whole story is a drama cleverly disguised as a comedy. It's one of the few mangas I actually enjoy.
For months now I've been trying to draw a fanart of at least one of the characters, and Yuki seemed the easiest. I'm going to tackle a few other members of the Zodiac some time in the future as well. And now I find myself talking too much. Ah well.
Thanks for the compliment, Commander !

Very nice, I love the detail on his shirt. Looks absolutely beautiful; my only peeve is the eyes...but I'm just a fan of very dark eyes. ^^;
